We add shipping as a standalone line item group at the bottom of the invoice, since we're billing it anyway. Then add in the tracking #s there. And use a printavo template email for shipment notification that lets the client know.

Exactly what Miles said. But a box of its own that said tracking would be more professional!

Great Idea

We just put tracking in customer notes. We have a shipped status that explains the tracking is in the notes on the invoice.
