IMMEDIATE FIX REQUESTED! The new feature of customers being allowed to "opt in" or "opt out" of receiving SMS texts has been implemented in a fashion that causes a huge amount of effort for the business - everyone was defaulted to the status of "opt out". To change this, the business has to manually "opt in" EVERY customer in the database, or the customer will NOT receive a SMS text. Having 1000's of customers, this is not a feasible effort. My suggestions are two-fold (as a fellow software developer and Printavo customer) is as follows: NEW CUSTOMER CREATION, BEST solution - default SMS texts to "opt in" OK but not the best - add a button to the adding new customer menu that Opts the customer in for SMS texts (currently have to save the customer, then go back in and edit them to opt in. EXISTING CUSTOMERS, The ability for the business to run a database script, or request one be run by Printavo developers, that Opts every customer in automatically. All customers were defaulted to opted out when this feature rolled out. This means NONE of our customers receive texts for order pick up, unless this is changed PER CUSTOMER. This should have been rolled out with all customers defaulted to Opted IN and then the customer would be able to choose on their next text.
