I need to identify WHY someone is tax exempt. Right now, Printavo only has one which is "resale" baked in to the software. That’s not enough detail to file my monthly tax report, So, in my perfect world, I should be able to check tax exempt, which would trigger a drop down box to select an allowable exemption category (i.e. Resale (need a number), Agricultural, NonProfit, Government Entity, Interstate Commerce, etc.,) - Perhaps a couple of programmers could connect this to QBO sales tax liability report??? If not, could it product a detailed monthly report to assist with filing out the worksheet? QBO allows you to define your sales tax categories (SEE ATTACHED) and that’s what feeds the liability report. If Printavo had a similar functionality (such as what you have with sales categories connecting to QBO and specific GL accounts) for sales tax categories so they could “connect” that would be awesome.
