Power Scheduler Placeholder Jobs

Placeholder jobs to be added to the power scheduler. For instance, if there is a potential job coming in that I want to account for, but don't have all of the info to make a full invoice with scheduled impressions, I want to have a placeholder job in the power scheduler to make sure I don't overbook.

An update/work around on this - I have found that I can just create a Quote and a Status (called Team Calendar) and I use that job to bring attention to the day needed on the Calendar and then I also can overfill the Power Scheduler for that desired day as well so that they team won't schedule jobs on that day. We use this status when we are closed for a holiday, an employee is out or we have something special happening. It's been a great work around.
You can also use Tasks also if you just need to show something in the Calendar View.

For us, we just create a quote with the general info/scope of the job and schedule it in the Power Scheduler with the allotted time we think we need for it. It holds the place in the schedule and we can always fine tune the details later.

We take contract jobs from other printers. We "know" the order is coming, but because of shipping and/or differing processes I have to simply remember that Tuesday next week nothing is scheduled because in reality I have 635 pieces that need a 5-color left chest, and 5 color-back....a placeholder would be rad. This could also help with smaller reprints (mess-ups, damage, etc) that we need to account for the schedule, but aren't a whole invoice worth of stuff.

this would be great for event planning, knowing we have at least 500 shirts to run the week of event

Yes, maybe a special invoice status for these types of jobs that shows up differently in the schedule.
