FIRM Due Date Tag

Most jobs are pretty fluid, but there are also jobs that have firm due dates.
Allow for a firm due date option when setting the production/customer due dates, and flag them in a way that will stand out and be visible on the calendar view as well as during other statuses on the calendar.
Perhaps an outline around the box?

Agreed - I have done a workaround by making a RED ORDER DUE status - but then that doesn't allow for knowing EXACTLY what status the order is in

yes; and a prompt about altering a due date if it has been checked as firm

It would be amazing to have a "must have by" or a "FIRM DATE" check box next to the date. 90% of our jobs do not have a FIRM date. But the 10% that do have a firm date can get lost. We need a way to sort through those fast. Plus a report that has those Firm dates. Or at the least the date be blank until it is assigned one. Since every job auto populates a date they all run together. Our "fix" at the moment is adding the date in the nick name.

Here's three ways you could do this:
Add a tag called FIRM
Add a status called FIRM
Put FIRM in the production notes and nick name
Hope this helps!

Any update on this?

Is this an option? To put a red line around firm dates?? Or is there a way to signify a firm date?

Christi Pruett: No, that's why the attached image was my proposal for an easier visual. In the meantime, we've been getting by with adding a task to whichever job is firmly due so it can be visible from the calendar view.

We have two options that we have done first we put
must by
in the invoice. the other is We created a MUST FOR TODAY TAG. This is great but then they guys dont see it if they do not have that option clicked.S

Until this happens...We still print invoices out on paper. Our production manager came up with the idea of putting FIRM due dates in green sleeves, and RUSH orders in red sleeves. Works like a charm!
