Hi Dan, thank you for sharing your concern and we appreciate your feedback. If it helps, there are authenticator apps accessible on your desktop or browser if a phone is not suitable. Additionally, there is the option under user permissions to opt certain user accounts out of 2FA. While we don't recommend it, that option is available.

There should also be an option to trust the device for a time period instead of having a daily verification.
Heath Shuford
Dina Morganelli: Hi Dina, 2FA is only required when signing in on a new device or if you sign out and then back in. There will not be a daily verification. Hope this helps.

Heath Shuford it's been daily for us

Chris Regec Printavo doesn't expire user sessions after a certain period of time. The 2FA functionality has been available to users for a year now, and doesn't impact sign-in frequency. We are just working to encourage more users to use it as we have seen a significant number of shops have their accounts hijacked, which has presented significant challenges for both them and our team.

Heath Shuford I'm just telling you that it makes me jump through the 2FA hoops every time I close my browser, every time I restart my computer, and every time I try logging in on my phone's browser. It's not ONLY when I sign out and it HAS been
daily
, which directly conflicts with what you just told Dina. If you have any insight as to why it's happening, I'd love to know away to change it without fully disabling 2FA.E

There are so many reasons this is a bad idea all around.

There should be alternatives, including sending an email for verification.
