Inksoft+Printable Merge

When Inksoft orders merge into Printavo they do not fall into the flow of our current fulfillment process. We would like to be able to send customer artwork approvals and complete orders with the procedures we already have, rather than go back to inksoft to complete. This would mainly include merging contact information but opening up orders to printavo.

I was told two days ago on my discovery call this was possible. Looks like its not?

jason@deuceshirts.com--Depends how your shop works I suppose. Yes, orders are coming over from inksoft into printavo. But there is no contact info or pricing so we are still using TWO separate platforms to complete orders, contact customers, and pull reports for accounting. So, depends on your spin. But I would say this was not a merge, as we cannot use ONE platform. You can move the work order through the status's in printavo and add the work to the power scheduler so production can see the work order--we just find that we are still using two platforms.

Oh, and as Cory mentioned in the comments. Once you bring the order into printavo the order form locks so you can no longer make changes. You would have to delete and start new to make any sort of edits.
Hard example for us, was a customer placed and paid for an order then called (within 24hrs) to have a shirt color changed. While we say you cannot make changes after your order has been placed--I think this is unavoidable and bound to happen occassionaly. It would be poor customer service and unreasonable for us to not change a shirt color within the time that it took this customer to notice and request the change.

jason@deuceshirts.com I believe we are in phase 1, step 1 of the merger... hopeful there will be some advancements. Also, hoping this post garners some attention.

Yes!!! Contact sync is a big one.
The connection is so broken. The fact that it can’t pull contacts, or that an Order is locked once it’s synced is maddening.
