Manually edit line item formula

I would like to manually edit the values in the line item formula.
The formula is always
"Blank product * markup%" + imprint1 + imprint2 + etc...
Often times we have to manually force the total price because the formula cannot account for bulk discounts on imprints spread across different line items group.
For example: The custom wants 500 shirts with the same front but 100 shirts will get this back and 100 shirts will get this back etc...
The easy way to do this is put all 500 fronts on one line item group and then put all the different backs on their own line item group. This is very confusing for the customer and also reveals your printing price (for the back print).
The cleanest way to do this is to manually calculate and then "force" the price by typing it in manually. This takes away the breakdown icon that you can hover over because the line item no longer knows how much anything is anymore.
This one might be hard but would help with tracking how much you a collect for each aspect of the price (shirt, markup, imprint, etc...). Currently we have our bookkeeper go into printavo, hover over the icon, and pull each data point out to enter on their spreadsheets so we can track everything.
