Merge Duplicate Customer Accounts

It would be great if you could create the ability to merge customer accounts. For example, if I had two customer accounts that were the same, this option would merge orders, transactions, payment history, etc from as selected account with the account you want to merge them with, and then delete the old customer account.

So, this does exist. It's in a very odd spot though, very easy to miss.
Go to the one of your duplicate customers and scroll to the bottom of their invoice list. There is a very light grey "merge customer" button at the very bottom which will allow you to type in the customer you want them merged under.
Once you do that, you'll see there is now one account, and whoever was merged in will be a contact in the account. If it is the same person who was duplicated and not just the company, you can delete the 2nd contact and it will reassign any invoices previously assigned to that contact back to the main contact.
Does everything you're asking for here. Merges all payment history, transactions, quotes, completed orders, etc. Except you won't have to delete the duplicate when you're done. They're merged, so it's all one customer account. Nothing will be left to delete other than the 2nd contact.
