Hello, maybe it is just me but I have an issue with the way payments are made and the way I do my sales tax each month. Example: if an invoice is created in January, but not paid for until April, when I go to do my monthly sales tax, a payment that is made in April will not reflect as an April payment and is a January payment. Therefore basically never paying taxes for that job because it was technically under January total sales. Am I missing an easy way to correct this without changing stuff like due dates on the invoice? It’s difficult to remember to go back to the invoice and change dates just to trick the taxes to line up.
Downloading the excel sheet is more trouble than it should be.
