When I do analytics I would like the report to shows profit for the month regardless of when an invoice is paid. it is confusing when the income is recorded when it is posted as it might show up 1 or 2 months later

It would be nice to choose to show when an invoice is created vs when it was paid but these guys seem to have no intention of adding useful reporting. Your best bet would be to use the API to pull data and create your own reports.
