Rapid Reorder / Duplicate Order Feature for Clients
J
Josh@can-print.com
We have a ton of repeat business for clients who have been ordering for years from us. I'd love for clients who would like to reorder the same design and new quantities to just be able to log onto their old invoices from their client portal > click rapid reorder and it would duplicate a past quote/invoice and allow them to update quantities. Once they clicked submit, our admins would receive a notification that a client would like to place a re-order, we would verify blanks, pricing and availability and send it back to the client.
Think of it like a duplicate quote button for your clients. Instead of them having to call us or send us an email or stop by to place a new order, they could just duplicate a previous order, update sizes, and click request quote. We approve and send it back to them to approve and pay. Would be amazing for contract print shops and shops that print for businesses that place orders frequently.

Check box for new, or repeat job

When making a new quote, it would be awesome to have a required box to check for a new order vs a repeat order. This would save the production team from searching for old artwork or info from past orders, or save them from creating new films ect. if it's already been done.

REORDER REQUEST BUTTON

Could we entertain a feature that is used the same way as the APPROVAL buttons/PAYMENT buttons function, but in case a customer references an old invoice link and simply wants to initiate a Reorder that we're notified on our Printavo dashboard (or in messages) so we can easily follow up with them.

ORDER COPY - SET QUANTITIES TO 0

***When copying an order the quantity is also copied over. Needs to have a way that we can click a button to turn the quantities to nothing. Not 0 since that shows up on purchase orders, but rather NOTHING in the quantities. Leaves price in place.

duplicate line items to new invoice

I often have customers come in and place re-orders for the same products. Often times, however each of these orders may have been on different invoices. It would be nice to have a checkbox or something to copy individual line items from multiple invoices to a new invoice.

Most of our clients place repeat orders. Would be great to have a Merch Store for our clients to login to place wholesale orders, automatically creating an invoice and collecting payments; instead of clients emailing us, then we create an invoice, only to send back to them for approval and payment.

More Customer Info Carry Over To New Quotes

It would be super nice if when a new invoice is created with an existing customer, that invoice would automatically contain information such as thread color, shirt style etc etc.
Currently I just duplicate invoices which helps, but a lot of times the prices are out of date or the info just isn't there.

Can we add an area to the quote to indicate if it's a new order or re-order?
Thanks

Quick Reorder Form for clients

I would love to offer a quick reorder button for our retail clients who place re-orders on a regular basis. It is super easy for us to just duplicate a previous order that the client placed and resend it over. But I feel like it would be even more seamless to give the client a chance to just log into the order, click "rapid re-order" and have them automatically send over new orders with updated quantities. Our sales people would be able to just verify that we can take the job and then send it back out to them for an order approval. It would make contract work and re-orders seamless.

Buuump <3 I feel like this could be used by most contract decorators or companies who specialize in merchandising / print lots of repeat orders from their clients.
All could be done through the each clients customer portal. Click the order > rapid reorder > adjust sizes, they could even approve the design as the decorator can approve or decline the order.

Make it integrated / filterable to the client by the in house job number, but also the client PO#.

We've started typing new or reset after the art nickname. Can see on the calendar at a glance. This helps those of us who do just in time ordering.
