Heath Shuford Any update when this will roll out? This was demonstrated at Print Hustlers this past year and would greatly increase our efficiency in knowing when orders have been fully received.
Thanks in advance from all shops using Printavo.

Chris Daniel We're aiming to release the MVP in Q1, and continue releasing improvements to receiving functionality in Q2. If you'd like, I'm happy to add you to the limited release, which should last a couple weeks before releasing to everyone.

Heath Shuford That would be awesome! We would be happy to test drive it and glad to hear it is coming out soon.

Yay. Waiting for the announcement that this basic shop function is only available with premium. Here's to hoping though.

We are currently order from multiple vendors or vendor locations. This results in use manually handling the order to keep track of what has arrived and what we are still waiting on. This would eliminate a lot of manual work.

Receiving Product Improvements to PO's and Invoices
K

Ordering from various vendors and locations, combined with the increasing difficulty in locating product, require some changes to the check in process. Please see the attachment for an idea that our receiving department has. If these shaded boxes could be utilized and seen by us, but not the customer, this would be an ideal check in feature. We could identify the exact pieces that are in house and note any backorder dates in the notes.

Hi all!
We are currently working on a big Purchasing update and are looking for some additional feedback as we make a few decisions regarding POs. This (anonymous) survey should only take about 3 minutes and will help impact the direction we take. Thanks in advance for your help!

Abby McDowell 19 months later, any progress??
Heath Shuford
Curt CrossmanHi Curt, our receiving features are in development and will support partial receiving against either invoices or purchase orders.

Heath Shuford great, it's been 20 months since this was marked as planned and the feature was first suggested 7 years ago!! I think I can speak for all Printavo users when I say that some transparency and accountability would be greatly appreciated. Target dates would be helpful and they'd keep your users up to date/off your case.

Add ability to check in some products but not all in a particular Purchase Order. Example: I order PC54 (out of main warehouse) and Gildan 2000 (From alternate warehouse) all from Sanmar...UPS delivers the PC54 tomorrow but the 2000's the day after...I currently can not receive part of a PO.

Expected Delivery Date Schedule (Incoming Product)

It would be great if there was a schedule based on incoming product/deliveries.
Our suppliers usually provide us with an expected delivery date, so it would be nice if we could relay that information to our receiving team.

Given the current situation with inventories - it would be nice to mark a PO as partially received

I checked out the link below for check-in.decoflo.com and while it looks pretty cool - I do not want to pay another $49 / month! Printavo - please consider adding this capability within your software.

David Estadt: Knowing what I know about check-in this is going to be your option for printavo. just pay up the year and thank the developer later
D
David Estadt
Jamie Lampert: Maybe you're right and that's what I should do. However, just got notified that QBO is going another $40 / month.
J
Jamie Lampert
David Estadt: I worked with QB and even built an integration for Xero. I always end up back using printavo for invoicing. You can still keep detailed records. Think about what might speed up your production. Not just the cost factor.
G
Garrett Gerstenberger
Jamie Lampert: it may be worth the money but the hope for a management software / crm / all in one wouldn't require us as users to string along other services via API to concoct a system that works as we need it. I feel like every month I have an issue connecting Zapier, QBO, Twilio..
J
Jamie Lampert
Garrett Gerstenberger: You are correct. I wish it was all in one as well. But from what I know and understand this is going to be the option.
