FIRM Due Date Tag

Identity Ink Art
Most jobs are pretty fluid, but there are also jobs that have firm due dates.
Allow for a firm due date option when setting the production/customer due dates, and flag them in a way that will stand out and be visible on the calendar view as well as during other statuses on the calendar.
Perhaps an outline around the box?

Hi everyone!
Thank you for sharing your feedback about needing to tag orders as rush orders. We have an interactive prototype that shows an idea we’re considering for this feature. If you have time, we welcome you to take a look and share your feedback in effort to help us ensure this solution meets your needs. Keep in mind, this is a prototype and there will be subtle differences in the design and coloring compared to Printavo.
How to interact with the prototype:
- The prototype opens in the Order Edit view where you can mark an order as a rush order and save the changes.
- Click the Invoices tab to view rush order labels in Invoice list view
- Click the Calendar tab to view rush order labels on the Calendar
- Click the Power Scheduler tab to view an imprint that belongs to a rush order
Rush order prototype can be accessed here:
Feedback on the solution idea can be submitted here:

Heath Shuford The prototype doesn't even work man.

Brenden Odom: Hi Brenden, it works for me and we've received feedback from other users this morning. Only the steps that I mentioned above work, not everything on the page. Can you tell me what you tried that didn't work?

Heath Shuford It didn't work for me or my coworkers! When we click on the link it is a blank page and just spins like it is trying to load something.
Heath Shuford
Michelle Murray: Apologies for the invoncenience but it does take a moment to load.

Dina Morganelli: I would try refreshing the page. It takes about 20 seconds to load on my end and I've not seen it take much longer than that.

Heath Shuford I've tried on multiple browsers and have refreshed multiple times. Let me know if you find a way to let people see it.

Heath Shuford Also Can't get it load to view
Heath Shuford
Dina Morganelli: I sincerely apologize that it is not loading for you and wish I was able to help. I have received several responses on the feedback form from other customers today who haven't had any issues so I'm not sure why it isn't loading for you. This is a 3rd party tool so I have limited control. I'm wondering if it have something to do with your network configuration that's preventing it from loading. Just a guess but you could try loading it on a different network to see if that does the trick (e.g. home vs. work).

I was able to confirm the prototype doesn't load in Safari and am looking into this. It appears to be an issue with Figma, our prototyping tool. It does load in Chrome on my end. I will share an update on potential solutions if I'm able to find one. Apologies again for the inconvenience.

Heath Shuford This Figma does not work on my computer but it works on other one in my printshop (it is strange but it is what it is)
This looks great, and I would like that our account receive this functionality ASAP
Thank you

Agreed - I have done a workaround by making a RED ORDER DUE status - but then that doesn't allow for knowing EXACTLY what status the order is in

yes; and a prompt about altering a due date if it has been checked as firm

We currently have a profile created for rush or event sensitive orders that also uses a slightly different version of our logo so that it stands out to our staff as a "different" order on the work orders. This is a pretty good Band-Aid for out needs but we would love to see a more intentional change implemented.

Must have or FIRM date Button

It would be amazing to have a "must have by" or a "FIRM DATE" check box next to the date. 90% of our jobs do not have a FIRM date. But the 10% that do have a firm date can get lost. We need a way to sort through those fast. Plus a report that has those Firm dates. Or at the least the date be blank until it is assigned one. Since every job auto populates a date they all run together. Our "fix" at the moment is adding the date in the nick name.
